Dr. Monte Harrel, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.
Dr. Monte Harrel is the CEO and founder of Harrel Eyecare Centers. He and his partners now operate 3 locations in the Tulsa metro area. Dr. Harrel began his practice because he has a passion for excellence in children and family eyecare. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the Oklahoma College of Optometry at NSU, where he is an adjunct professor. He completed his post-graduate fellowship in vision development and children’s vision under the direction of Dr. Patrick Pirotte O.D., F.C.O.V.D. in Wichita, KS.
Dr. Harrel attends numerous hours of continuing education on the advancements in optometry each year. He enjoys speaking with parent and professional organizations on the critical link between vision and learning. Additionally, he is a sought after speaker for optometric 3educational events around the country on topics including vision development and practice managment.
Dr. Tiffany Harrel, O.D. 
A native of Tulsa and graduate of the University of Tulsa and the Oklahoma college of Optometry at NSU, Dr. Harrel completed a post-graduate residency in laser vision correction, ocular trauma and ocular disease. She splits time between professional practive and motherhood, with the Harrel’s two daughters.
Dr. Lynsey Bigheart, O.D.
Dr. Lynsey Bigheart graduated from Northeastern State University College of Optometry after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma. She has a strong background in family eyecare, and specialty skills in gas permeable lenses and children’s eyecare.
Dr. Shannon Morgans, O.D.
Originally from Illinois, Dr. Shannon Morgans attended Oklahoma State University for undergraduate and Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry for professional education. Consistent with our team, she has a strong background in family eyecare, is great with children, and is well versed in ocular disease management. Her husband is on the Tulsa Fire Department, and they enjoy their three children.
Dr. David Kolker, O.D.
Dr. David Kolker received his education from the University of Tulsa and Northeastern State University College of Optometry. He was one of the first optometrists in the nation certified in Laser Vision Correction. In addition, he has served as author, consultant and lecturer in the area of computer vision care. Currently, Dr. Kolker splits his time between providing family care at Harrel Eyecare Center and serving residents of nursing homes throughout Oklahoma.
Dr. Savannah Sayler, O.D.
Dr. Savanah Sayler is the newest optometric physician at New Vision. She recently graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry. While completing her educational requirements at NSUOCO, she received numerous honors and awards, including the Clinical Excellence Award for outstanding 4th year students and was named a Carl Zeiss Vision Fellowship recipient. Dr. Sayler has had extensive training in contact lens fitting and was selected by the contact lens faculty to receive the Heart of America Excellence in Contact Lens Award. Dr. Sayler is interested in ocular disease, especially relating to Multiple Sclerosis. During her time at NSUOCO, she performed award-winning research studying the focusing and eye teaming ability of the eyes in patients with Multiple Sclerosis.
Dr. Sayler grew up in the small town of Wilson, Oklahoma and graduated as Valedictorian. She attended Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Sayler enjoys volunteering at the Special Olympics, Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps, National MS Society events, Bedlam Clinic of Tulsa, and Diabetic Day at the Tulsa Community Health Center. In her free time Dr. Sayler enjoys attending OSU sporting events with her husband, taking her dog Dezzi on walks and runs, attending church, shopping, and reading.
